Setap is present for 30 years to meet the needs of industries at the technological level. With our market presence, with companies changing technology!
In June 1979, Yves Raoul and Maurice FOURNEYRON formed a partnership to creat the SETAP Company. It was based in Ile de France. Its activities consisted mainly of an automation systems design office.
In January 2000, Mr Yves RAOUL retired and the company was bought by the SYNERLEC group and took on the status of a Public Company. This group developed further by creating one Setap branch in the west and one in the east. The one in the east was managed by Mr. Patrick JOBARD.
With the requirements of customer integrators developing in the direction of subcontracting all-inclusive turnkey contrats, the SETAP Company decided to set up a production unit.
In November 2004, following financial difficulties within Paris branch, the SETAP Company went into receivership. This led to Mr. JOBARD buying put the "Eastern branch" on 07 November 2005 : It then became EURL SETAP (limited company in single ownership) located at Mathay with 300m² of office area and 400m² of workshop area.
In order to diversify, SETAP acquired a mechanical engineering centre for making specialised machinery and tools to meet the requirements of our customers.
In 2009, Mr JOBARD acquires the CVM Company, specialised in precision machining and tool making and in particular press tools.
The company operates nationally and internationally!
